Our turf care program can be customized to your specific needs and budget. You can request all or nothing and anything in between. Applications must be applied at specific times of the year to maximize the effectiveness of the product.

Premium Package

Our Premium Turf Care Package includes 7 seasonal operations. Included are operations 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 bundled into one annual package.  The price for this package is an annual price divided into 8 equal payments running April through November.


Conventional Package
Our Conventional Turf Care Package includes operations 1, 2, 3, 6 & 7 listed below bundled into one annual package.  The price for this package is an annual price divided into 8 equal payments running April through November.

 

Essential Package

This basic package includes operations 1, 2, & 6 which are minimally appropriate to maintain a healthy weed free lawn. The price for this package is an annual price divided into 8 equal payments running April through November.

 

 

 

 

Applicationn Description

1. Early Spring Fertilizer with Crabgrass Control - This fertilizer is combined with a pre-emergent herbicide for the selective control of crabgrass along with other weedy grasses. This application will be applied in April.

 

2. Broadleaf Weed Control - A selective broadleaf herbicide application will control the activity of dandelions and other weedy turf pests. This application will be applied in May and as required throughout the growing season.

 

3. Late Spring Fertilizer - This late spring fertilizer application will provide the turf with the essential nutrients to lessen the summer heat and drought stress as well as improve wear tolerance. This application will be applied in June.

 

4. Early Summer Fertilizer - with Insecticide for Grub Control This early summer application is applied as a preventative treatment for season-long grub control combined with a fertilizer to provide turf with the essential nutrients to lessen the summer heat and drought stress as well as improve wear tolerance. This application will be applied in late June.

 

5. Summer Fertilizer - This mid-season fertilizer is important for carbohydrate reserves and recuperative ability from the summer drought. This application will be applied in late July to early August.
Remember during the summer your lawn needs 1” of water a week to maintain its vitality!

 

6. Fall Fertilizer - This is the most important application. The fall application promotes shoot growth, root density, builds carbohydrate reserves and fortifies the turf against disease. This application will be applied in September.

 

7. Lawn Aeration -
Hollow tine aeration is the most effective way to relieve soil compaction. It improves moisture and air exchange through the soil. Of the mechanical turf operations this one is the most important. This operation is performed in October.

 

8. Dormant Fertilizer - This late season fertilizer promotes over wintering root growth and supplies the nutrients for enhanced winter color and early spring green-up. This application will be applied in November.
